About
A Wan Chai practice for conversion truth and merchandising clarity
Filespringbase grew from retail analytics work inside Hong Kong brand teams—where festival calendars, marketplace dual-selling, and finance reconciliation collide every quarter.
Why we exist
Online merchandising decisions depend on numbers that often disagree. Purchase events fire without order IDs. Channel reports claim the same basket twice. Category conversion averages hide the price bands that actually clear. We built Filespringbase to sit between merchandising, marketing, and finance long enough to sort those conflicts—and leave a written record the team can own.
We are not a media agency and we do not sell software seats. Clients hire us for defined reviews, briefings, checkups, and seasonal watches grounded in their live catalogues.
How we work
Validate tracking before interpreting demand. Name severity and owners in every finding. Prefer sample-order evidence over dashboards that cannot be reconciled. Present in Hong Kong time so warehouse and buying calendars are not an afterthought.
Values we hold in client work
Evidence before narrative
We will not invent a tidy story when sample orders contradict the chart. Gaps stay gaps until tags or processes change.
Language buyers recognise
Findings speak in assortment, price bands, promotions, and order IDs—not abstract “optimisation journeys.”
Finite engagements
Every project has a walkthrough and a handoff. If you need ongoing watch coverage, that is a separate seasonal retainer with clear hours.
